We did a group tour (three couples) last month with Darwin and it was absolutely terrific. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable and we were able to see a great deal of Victoria is a relatively short time (we did a morning tour as we had other commitments later in the day and had been to Butchart Gardens on the previous day). As other reviewers have noted, Darwin was great, very knowledgeable and personable and seemed to know exactly what we would enjoy seeing, when to stop and let us take pictures, or just to roam around some of the beautiful locations in this area. This relatively short tour was one of the highlights of our entire trip and we felt we had seen so much of this beautiful city. Anyone booking with this company will not be disappointed. All 6 of us highly recommend Darwin and Surfside Adventure Tours!

We did you hikes which was a great way to see 2 different parks and gave us a bit of a breather in between. Darwin was very informative about the area. We would highly recommend.

We traveled with Darwin on a complete, customized tour of Victoria and surrounding areas. He was informative and engaging, and we felt he always wanted to meet our needs to make our experience the best it could be.... and it was! It was a full day tour, so we covered a lot ..his lunch suggestion at the Red Barn hit the spot. We wanted extra time at Butchard Gardens, and he made that happen.That would not have happened on a regular tour.. He also was a true representative for his city...he clearly enjoys what he does. I booked this through Viator tours... I should say that it is not easy to please six women of a certain age, and we all agreed this tour was a HIT!

We spent a fantastic morning with Darwin. He picked us up promptly at our hotel and offered us several options based on our interests and ability. We chose two different beautiful locations to explore. Darwin was knowledge and interesting. It felt like we were hiking with an expert friend. My wife and I did a Cowichan Valley wine tour with Darwin. The vehicle was spacious, comfortable, and meticulously detailed. Darwin was both professional and personable. He tailored the tour to our liking and was more than accommodating. He knew exactly when to give us privacy and when to be around to take pictures or make suggestions.
